Tributes continue to pour in following the death of Eric Dane, with former co-star Patrick Dempsey sharing emotional details about the actor's final days.
Dane, widely known for playing Dr. Mark "McSteamy" Sloan on Grey's Anatomy, died on February 19 at the age of 53 after battling ALS. In the days since, Dempsey has spoken publicly about the rapid decline his friend experienced toward the end of his life.
Speaking on The Chris Evans Breakfast Show, Dempsey revealed that the disease had severely affected Dane's condition shortly before his passing. He said Dane was "starting to lose his ability to speak" and described how the actor had become bedridden as ALS progressed.
