Sabrina Carpenter turned the MTV Video Music Awards into more than just a night of music and spectacle. On Sunday, the 25-year-old singer delivered a performance of her new single Tears that blended dazzling choreography with unapologetic advocacy. The performance began with Carpenter shimmering in a silver fringe dress before making a swift costume change, backed by drag performers and dancers dressed as police officers.

Taylor Swift is already setting records with her upcoming album The Life of a Showgirl. The 14-time Grammy winner's new project, set for release on Friday, Oct. 3, became the most pre-saved album Countdown Page in Spotify history on Sunday, Aug. 3, weeks before its debut. Spotify announced the milestone on Instagram, revealing that the platform launched the Countdown Page on Aug. 14 along with an exclusive playlist titled And, baby, that's show business for you. The 22-track collection features songs produced by Max Martin and Shellback from Swift's albums 1989, Red and Reputation. As of publishing, the playlist has been saved more than 440,000 times.

After a seven-year hiatus from touring, Ariana Grande will return to the stage next summer with The Eternal Sunshine Tour. So far, five London dates are the only performances scheduled outside North America. The tour supports her latest album, released in March 2024. Since then, Grande has earned acclaim for her acting, including an Oscar nomination for her role as Glinda in Wicked, with the sequel Wicked: For Good due out this November.

Post Malone is known for his music, but on August 19 he added a new role to his career by stepping into the world of modeling. The Grammy-nominated artist made his debut with SKIMS, starring in the brand's latest menswear campaign.
