Shawn Mendes has left his fans feeling a mix of disappointment and anticipation with his recent announcement. On October 9, the 26-year-old singer took to his X and Instagram accounts to share that his upcoming album, Shawn, will be delayed. Originally scheduled for release on October 18, the new release date is now set for November 15, 2024.

Madonna, the iconic “Like a Prayer” singer, recently attended the New York Film Festival premiere of the Spanish-language musical “Emilia Pérez,” and she had nothing but high praise for the film and its cast. The event, held on October 1, saw Madonna posing for photos with the cast and crew, including director Jacques Audiard and stars Karla Sofía Gascón, Zoe Saldaña, Selena Gomez, Adriana Paz, and Édgar Ramírez.

The 29-year-old YouTuber and rapper alias Yung Filly, whose real name is Andres Felipe Valencia Barrientos, was arrested and taken into custody in Brisbane on Tuesday, and extradited to Perth on Wednesday. He has appeared in court after being accused of sexually assaulting and choking a woman in her Perth hotel room after a show. This is  after he performed at a venue in Hillarys, a northern coastal suburb of the capital of Western Australia, on 28 September.

During a live session with her fans,  Chloe Bailey reveals that her label doesn’t have a budget for her performances. She claims money goes into performances and her budget has not been approved. She went ahead to reveal that it is not about her work ethic or not wanting to perform. Her statement made fans sympathize with her, with one saying, “They failed Chloe so bad… this girl is immensely talented. Instead of focusing on her gifts, they decided to play the good sister, bad sister angle – over sexualizing her body & overshadowing that beautiful voice. I hate it for her so bad. Her career deserved better.”

Lauryn Hill is facing a lawsuit from her Fugees bandmate Pras Michel over fraud and breach of contract claims. The lawsuit follows the cancellation of their 2023 Miseducation anniversary tour and an upcoming 2024 reunion tour. Michel alleges Hill and her company MLH mismanaged the tour’s finances, inflating expenses and leaving him unpaid, despite most shows being sold out. He also claims Hill rejected a $5 million Coachella offer without his knowledge and used tour profits for her own benefit.
