Nick Viall is no stranger to online rumors and gossip, but he’s found a way to keep the noise at bay. The former Bachelor star recently shared how he and his wife, Natalie Joy, navigate the ups and downs of being in the spotlight while focusing on their personal happiness.

"I'm aware of a ton of rumors about me", Nick said during his appearance on The LadyGang podcast on June 25. "And I know that I'm unaware of 90% more because I don't read it".

To keep a healthy mindset, Nick avoids engaging with online chatter. "I don't read my own press, I don't read my comments. I'm not on Reddit—I actively stay off of it. And I'm just unaware of things that people say".

Since Natalie started co-hosting episodes of The Viall Files, she has become more visible to the public, drawing additional scrutiny. "It is what it is", Nick said about the increased attention on their relationship. Despite this, the couple has found ways to deal with the pressure. "You will never be able—you can never have thick enough skin to handle whatever rumors are about you", he noted.

Learning to disengage from the online discourse has been pivotal for Nick. "I'm human", he admitted. "As much as I say I stay offline, I'm sure I've had my moments of weakness. I had to get better and better at this". Nick explained that time often reveals the futility of engaging with rumors. "When something happens, you're just terrified of what people might be saying", he said. "And then two days go by and people move on. You're like, ‘If I had just not ever been made aware of this, I wouldn't have been stressed for two or three days. And that's what keeps me off".

Rather than focusing on negativity, Nick and Natalie choose to celebrate their personal joys, including their daughter River, whom they welcomed in February. As the couple celebrated their first Father’s Day, Natalie expressed her admiration for Nick’s role as a father. "I truly envy the relationship you and River have, and it brings tears to my eyes knowing she gets to grow up having you in her corner", she wrote in a heartfelt Instagram post on June 16. "Her face LIGHTS up the second you walk in the room and the biggest smile comes across her face. You were born to be a dad! And a husband! And I’m so glad you’re ours!!!!".
