On July 23, Washington finally addressed the leak via Instagram Stories: "What a way to get my phone back y'all. I just want to address the content that came out from my past. That was something I shared with someone in confidence and trust. It's unfortunate that it's no longer private but it is what it is."
The reality star expressed gratitude for the support he received, saying, "I want to thank you all for the calls/texts to support me during this time." He also acknowledged his Love Island journey, adding, "I love you all for tuning in to watch my journey. I'm excited for what's next."
Washington's partner on the show, Nicole Jacky, has not yet commented on the situation. The pair's relationship developed over six weeks in the villa, with Washington joining as a "bombshell" contestant. Their connection faced challenges when Jacky briefly showed interest in fellow contestant Miguel Harichi, but they ultimately reconnected.
During the finale, Washington revealed he realized his love for Jacky upon returning from Casa Amor to find she had waited for him. Though Jacky initially didn't reciprocate the sentiment, she expressed her feelings shortly before the winning couple was announced.
As the dust settles on this privacy breach, many fans are calling for legal action against those responsible for leaking the videos. One Instagram user commented, "I hope he sues whoever did this to him," while another added, "I hope Kendall is okay and has a good support system. I also hope he takes legal action."
