There's always a place on the dance floor reserved for Gleb Savchenko's friend. After competing for 12 seasons on Dancing With the Stars, Artem Chigvintsev did not return for season 33. The Dancing With the Stars pro shared a heartfelt message of support to Chigvintsev amid his ongoing divorce from his estranged wife, Nikki Garcia.

"He is a member of the family," Gleb stated to E! News on September 17 during the season 33 premiere of Dancing With the Stars. "People don't realize how talented he is as a dancer. The quality is in him. Quality is more important than quantity.

"He's just my brother, and I send him love and positivity," the 41-year-old continued, emphasizing that Artem "knows how the show works" and "how to create a beautiful routine."

Naturally, Gleb—this season's partner is model Brooks Nader—can deliver that message directly to Artem. Since Nikki filed for divorce from Artem earlier this month, following Artem's arrest on August 29 on a domestic abuse charge, the dancer revealed that they have been in communication.

To quote Gleb, "I talk to him all the time."

Gleb is excited for this season with his new celebrity partner, even though he will miss seeing Artem perform on the Dancing With the Stars stage.

Regarding his return to the dance floor with Brooks, he exclaimed, "I'm so excited." It's good to return every time. I've been working on this for the past eleven years.

The choreographer actually believes that the two will win the show's main prize in the future.

Gleb went on, "I've never won the Mirrorball, but this is the time. This year is it.

"We're very competitive," he continued. The two of us.
