Elon Musk's artificial intelligence startup, xAI, has filed a lawsuit against Apple and OpenAI, accusing them of conspiring to restrict competition in the AI sector. The complaint, lodged Monday in federal court in Texas, claims Apple unfairly boosted OpenAI's ChatGPT while suppressing xAI's Grok app in the App Store rankings.

Lyle and Erik Menendez, the brothers convicted of murdering their wealthy parents in 1989, have been denied parole after more than 36 years behind bars. The Pentagon said Kruse will no longer serve as head of the US Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), and that two other senior military commanders have also been ousted. The defence department has not yet offered an explanation for the firings.
