Ukrainian center Alex Len has signed a free agent deal with the Los Angeles Lakers, the NBA club announced on Tuesday after an earlier trade for Mark Williams fell through.

Cleveland added forward De'Andre Hunter (27) and Phoenix traded Bosnian big man Jusuf Nurkic (30) to Charlotte, according to multiple reports, as Thursday afternoon's NBA trade deadline approached. In the final two hours before the deadline for all transfer deals, ESPN reported the Atlanta Hawks were trading Hunter to the Cavaliers for guard Caris LeVert, forward Georges Niang, three second-round picks and two future pick swaps.
