Real Madrid have been officially crowned the Laliga title champions after a massive win on Saturday at Santiago Bernabeu against Cadiz. The massive 3-0 win against the being relegated side wrapped up the campaign. This is also after a bitter defeat of their rivals Barcelona by Girona that won four goals to two.
It has indeed been a heck of a campaign for Carlo Ancelotti's lads. Real Madrid are crowned champions and have only lost one Laliga match in the whole campaign. Real Madrid lost to the local rival team Atletico Madrid in September last year.
Real Madrid are also foreseen as Champions league favourites being in the Semi final against Bayern Munich after a successful 2-2 draw at Allianz Arena. Real Madrid will be welcoming Bayern Munich at Santiago Bernabeu this week for the second leg match.
Real Madrid’s perfect run has been contributed by a number of key factors. Jude Bellingham being one of the striding factors. Since his debut after his signing from Borussia Dortmund, Jude Bellingham has risen to the best ranks of performance. Having sealed back to back goals in the injury time against their bitter rivals Barcelona in the El Clasico.
It won’t be a surprise if Jude Bellingham win the Laliga's player of the season. His season has been outstanding so far. Jude Bellingham has successfully bagged 18 goals in the Laliga so far. He has also portrayed leadership qualities beyond the ability of a 20 year old lad. Jude Bellingham’s outstanding performances also guarantees his undoubtedly chances of being shortlisted in the Ballon d'Or award this year.
Real Madrid’s Brazilian Forwards have also been a huge boost to the team’s winning streaks. Rodrygo and Vinicius Junior have also portrayed masterful performances. With their flexibility and mastery of the game even after their main striker and legend Karim Benzema, the duo has been able to produce 23 goals combined in the Laliga campaign alone. Rodrygo having bagged a total of 10 goals and Vinicius Junior a total of 13 goals in the Laliga campaign alone.
Other combining factors such as the former Newcastle and Stoke city player Joselu has also been proactive. Having only appeared in 13 games, Joselu has notched 13 goals so far. Brahim Diaz is a compiling force to reckon. The central midfielder has bagged six goals and provided four assists in the Laliga campaign this season.
All these dedicated players has enabled Real Madrid be in the forefront by scoring 74 goals so far . Ancelotti has been in a better position to shuffle his team to produce the best performance possible as the whole pack is capable of making a masterclass team.
Despite Real Madrid facing major setbacks, they have always showcased growth and ability to succeed. Major injuries from key players such as Thibaut Courtois, Eder Militao and David Alaba has also been a huge blow to them. The 25 year old second goalkeeper Andriy Lunin however was able to step up and fill the void left. Antonio Rudiger on the other hand enjoyed an outstanding campaign being one of the most performing defenders making the team more stable.
A huge praise to Ancelotti’s ability to rotate the squad using the available players at hand to compensate the injuries. In the 34 games campaign, Real Madrid’s defence has only conceded 22 goals, making it the most defensively composed team in the Laliga Campaign.
