Liverpool have confirmed the appointment of Arne slot as their new head coach. The Feynoord boss will arrive at Anfield in place of Jurgen Klopp, who took charge of his final game against Wolves on Sunday at the end of a successful nine year stint. Arne, who signed a three-year contract, will start work at Liverpool on June 1^st after a compensation deal worth around 9.4 million Euros was reached with the Dutch side.

Real Madrid’s German international Toni Kroos announced on Tuesday that he will retire from all football after Euro 2024. He went to Instagram and said “My career as an active footballer will end this summer after the Euro championship.” Before the Euro 2024 championship, 34 year old Toni Kroos has the chance to win the Champions League with Real Madrid for the fifth time when they face Borussia Dortmund at Wembley on June 1^st.

Chelsea are now closing in to a European return as they managed a fourth consecutive Premier league win by beating Brighton in their home stadium. Following a disappointing start to the season, Chelsea have managed to pull back and fulfill their potential in recent months. The unbeaten Bayer Leverkusen will be taking on Atalanta in the 2023/2024 UEFA Europa Final. The final will be played at Dublin Arena in the Republic of Ireland.  The final will be played on 22^nd of May this year, Kick off being at 21:00 CET.

This Europa final is such an historical milestone for Atalanta. This will be their first ever European final. This comes after a massive 4-1 goal aggregate in the semi final against Marseille.
