Tom Brady showcased his good-natured side as he became the center of attention during Netflix's live special, "The Greatest Roast of All Time: Tom Brady," held at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California. Despite being subjected to a barrage of insults from friends and former teammates, including host Kevin Hart, Julian Edelman, Rob Gronkowski, Nikki Glaser, Drew Bledsoe, Randy Moss, and Kim Kardashian, the retired quarterback maintained his composure.

Among the jokes that drew the most reactions were those from Hart, who wasted no time delving into Brady's personal life and his divorce from Gisele Bündchen. Hart playfully ridiculed Brady's decision to come out of retirement for one final season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, poking fun at the team's less-than-stellar performance. He also teased Brady about Bündchen's new boyfriend, her karate coach Joaquim Valente, sparking visible discomfort from the former NFL star, who responded by raising his glass to the crowd.

Following Hart's lead, several other roasters targeted Brady's marriage. Former Patriots QB Bledsoe humorously compared Brady's ability to avoid being sacked on the field to his marital situation, while Glaser joked about Bündchen returning her ring, and Edelman referred to Brady as "Leonardo DiCaprio's ex-girlfriend's ex-husband."

Brady also faced ribbing for his failed crypto commercials, his losses to the New York Giants, and even his appearance, with Kardashian jokingly remarking that he reminded her too much of her stepdad. Brady and Bündchen filed for divorce in October 2022 after 13 years of marriage, and they share two children together.

The Netflix special, part of the Netflix Is a Joke festival, teased viewers with a trailer showing Brady walking away from the L.A. Forum as it humorously erupted in flames. Brady officially retired from the NFL for the second time in February 2023, announcing his decision in a heartfelt social media post, expressing gratitude to his fans, family, friends, teammates, and competitors for their unwavering support throughout his career.
