Kendall Jenner stands out among her sisters as the only one without children, but she's relishing her role as Aunt Kendall. In a recent interview with Vogue, the 28-year-old supermodel discussed her unique position within her family, emphasizing her lack of parenthood compared to her siblings and her geographical distance from their mother, Kris Jenner, who is 68. Reflecting on her expectations for herself at 27, Kendall acknowledged her propensity for setting boundaries from a young age.
"Even as a child, I've always been inclined to set boundaries," she remarked. "There are moments when I admire what my sisters have and think, 'That's truly special.' I appreciate maintaining some distance, but I anticipate eventually finding my own path."
"I used to envision having children by 27 when I was younger. Now that milestone has passed, and I still feel incredibly youthful. I'm savoring the freedom of not having kids," Kendall disclosed.
In a November episode of The Kardashians, Kendall joined her sister Khloé Kardashian and her nephew Tatum, along with Kris Jenner and her boyfriend, Corey Gamble, to celebrate the birth of Kendall's horse. During the gathering, Kris, expressing her desire for Kendall to become a mother, asked Kendall if she could envision herself having children someday.
"Absolutely," Kendall responded promptly. "I'm considering a maximum of three. But two suits me fine. I want my child to definitely have a sibling; that's non-negotiable."
In her private interview, Kris expressed her longing to see Kendall embrace motherhood, convinced that Kendall would excel as a parent. In response, Kendall defended her plans, assuring Kris, "I'm confident in my decision, and I'll present you with a grandchild when the timing aligns perfectly."
Reflecting on her life in the scene, Kendall elaborated, "I contemplate my current freedom and the ease with which I can embark on spontaneous adventures."
In an interview for WSJ. Magazine's Summer digital issue, Kendall delved into her thoughts on starting a family and her intentions regarding her future residence as her children grow. "I look forward to that phase of my life," she expressed regarding having her own children. "But it's not on the cards right now."
Regarding her future location, Kendall affirmed her intention to depart from Los Angeles. "Absolutely. You're hearing it here first."
