During her Las Vegas residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, Adele gave a heartfelt shoutout to her stepdaughter, Reonna. The 36-year-old singer-songwriter, who recently returned to her acclaimed residency after a three-month health break, took a moment to celebrate Reonna's college graduation.
"Congratulations to my stepdaughter Reonna for graduating from college!" Adele exclaimed on stage. "She's the first in her family to do so, and it's an amazing accomplishment."
Adele's family was in Georgia celebrating with Reonna, but she made sure to acknowledge her from the stage. "It's my stepdaughter's graduation this weekend, and her name is Reonna. She's graduating from Clark Atlanta University tomorrow," Adele said, urging fans to share the moment online so Reonna could see it. "I love you, darling. Congratulations! It's a f***ing vibe."
Adele, who secretly married sports agent Rich Paul in November 2023, has embraced her role as stepmother to his children, Reonna, Richie, and Zane. Paul also became a stepfather to Adele's 11-year-old son, Angelo, whom she shares with her ex-husband, Simon Konecki.
Reonna later shared Adele's sweet shoutout on her Instagram Story, adding teary-eyed emojis and calling Adele "the best."
During her show, Adele also revealed her desire to expand her family. "Once I am done with all my obligations and all of my shows, I want to have a baby," she said. "I want to have a girl because I already have a boy."
Reflecting on her future daughter, Adele shared her thoughts on their potential relationship. "I feel like she might be the person I love the most in the world, but also probably hate the most," she said, predicting that her daughter would inherit her strong-willed nature. "With me as her mother and Rich as her father, she's going to be a bossy little queen, isn't she?"
Rich Paul has also expressed his openness to having more children. In a June 2022 interview with E! News, he talked about the challenges and joys of fatherhood. "As a young dad growing a business, it was pretty tough. But now, as an older dad, if I were to have more kids, I'm looking forward to being a different dad."
