The ballroom is officially reopening. Dancing with the Stars will return for its 35th season later this year, and the first celebrity participants have now been revealed. Reality personalities Ciara Miller and Maura Higgins are set to compete for the coveted Mirrorball Trophy.

The announcement was made during a high-profile Hulu presentation event held in Beverly Hills, where upcoming unscripted programming was previewed.

Miller, known for her time on Summer House, has also appeared on The Traitors. Beyond television, she built a career in healthcare as a registered nurse, including work in intensive care during the global pandemic. In recent months, she has remained in the spotlight due to widely discussed interpersonal drama involving her castmates, drawing increased attention from viewers.

Higgins rose to prominence on Love Island UK, where she became a standout finalist. She later expanded her presence within the franchise, taking on hosting and media roles tied to its U.S. editions. Her run on The Traitors further boosted her profile, where she advanced to the final stages of the game.

Her experience on that series included a dramatic ending, as she reached the finale alongside a fellow contestant who ultimately outmaneuvered her. Despite the loss, her performance earned strong audience support, positioning her as a compelling addition to the dance competition lineup.

Additional celebrity contestants and professional partners for Season 35 are expected to be announced in the coming months.

Meanwhile, the franchise is expanding. A new spinoff will introduce a group of aspiring dancers competing for a chance to join the main show as professionals. The series will feature a structured training and elimination format designed to identify standout talent.

Veteran figures from the dance world are set to appear as judges, offering guidance and critique throughout the competition.

Season 35 of Dancing with the Stars is scheduled to premiere this fall.

Lana Del Rey's former fiancé Clayton Johnson has shared his honest reaction to her marriage to Jeremy Dufrene.

The influencer and Josh "Bru" Brubaker—better known as "Bru on the Radio"—have announced their engagement after more than four years of dating.

Khloe Kardashian is expanding her reality TV presence with a brand-new Hulu series, The Girls, a show centered on her close group of longtime friends and their everyday lives.

The project, which Kardashian is executive producing, was announced during Hulu's Get Real House Live event, where she introduced the concept to audiences.

The series will follow her tight-knit circle, including Malika Haqq, Khadijah Haqq McCray, Olivia Pierson, Natalie Halcro, Yris Palmer and Nicole Williams English.

"I am excited to introduce you to my chosen family," Kardashian said at the event. "My incredible inner circle of real life besties."

She added, "They're moms, they're moguls, they're my girls, and soon they're going to be all your girls, too."

A teaser shown during the announcement gave a glimpse into the dynamic among the group, with Kardashian describing them as her longtime friends.

"The girls in question here? These are my OG girlfriends," she said, adding, "They're wild and absolutely unhinged... kinda like me."

The preview highlighted a mix of personal and dramatic moments, from celebrations and friendships to disagreements and life changes.

"Like real sisters, we've got our issues," Kardashian noted. "With the girls, it's always something. And honestly, that's why I'm obsessed."

According to the show's description, The Girls will follow the women as they navigate careers, motherhood and relationships, offering an unfiltered look at their bond.

The series promises storylines ranging from "raising babies" and "running businesses" to handling "brutally honest group chats" and major life milestones.

For Haqq, the show reflects years of friendship that audiences have not fully seen. "We really are the Kardashian-Jenner OG squad," she said. X

"We've come together for every event, child, play, cry, birthday and we've been a show since we've known each other." She added, "Khloe just figured it out that it was something that everybody else needed to see as well."

The series also marks another collaboration between Kardashian and Hulu, where The Kardashians continues to stream. Over the years, she has also worked behind the scenes on several reality and true-crime projects.

The Girls is expected to premiere later this year.

Maggie Sajak has experienced some good fortune.

Indeed, Pat Sajak's daughter has recently begun a romance with Savannah Bananas infielder Jackson Olson.

Along with a sweet photo of the couple in front of Cinderella's castle at Disneyland posted to Instagram on April 21, Jackson joked in the caption, "Applications closed."

Indeed, late last year, the banana ball player posted a cheeky video asking social media for a girlfriend, complete with a hilarious "boyfriend application."

"As some of you know, I've been single for over five years," Jackson wrote in his December 2025 TikTok. "And I've been getting tired of it lately. So, this is my official 2026 boyfriend application."

Jackson's qualifications included a love of Disney, Taylor Swift's music, musicals, and the fact that his position in the performing sports league entails dancing on baseball fields "for a living."

Furthermore, the 28-year-old joked that his parents were a big part of his search for a partner, saying, "My parents are sick of me not having a girlfriend."

What about his other qualities? Jackson boasted that he still enjoys building legos and "has the diet of a 12 year old." The baseball player also mentioned that he'd make the ideal Instagram boyfriend.

"I'm very unphotogenic," he said. "So I'll make you look great in photos."

While Maggie, who was previously linked to Ross McCall in 2024, was the standout bachelorette, Jackson received numerous positive responses to his social media call out.

As one TikTok user jokingly commented, "Green flag after green flag."

Meanwhile, another teacher influencer's comment was liked by Jackson himself.

"If I was 20 years younger," she joked. "Good luck. "You're so much fun!"

After launching his romance with the social correspondent for Wheel of Fortune, Jackson jokingly added a clip from Elf in which Will Ferrell as Buddy the Elf yells, “I’m in love, I’m in love and I don’t care who knows it!”
