Charles Leclerc, who hinted a week ago in Baku that he was expecting a call from Toto Wolff, looks set to continue to wait.
It comes as Lewis Hamilton said in Miami that he has no intention of leaving F1 and that his desire is to renew his contract with Mercedes AMG F1 this year (his contract expires in December).

Sergio Perez won the Azerbaijan Grand Prix on Sunday to become the first driver to win twice on the Baku circuit.
The Mexican Red Bull driver finished 2.137 seconds ahead of teammate Max Verstappen, championship leader with 93 points, but who saw his lead with Checo Perez narrowed to 87 points in the 2023 Formula 1 season.
In a video released by DAZN, Verstappen is seen talking to his engineers about losing time on a section of the track.
"What gear should I use in Turn 3? It goes right between seventh and eighth," the Dutchman asked over the radio. "Seventh, Max," they replied.

Checo Perez continued his impressive start to the 2023 Formula 1 season as he took victory at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix on Sunday afternoon.
The Mexican driver started the race in P3 but a safety car came at a fortunate time which meant, having already overtaken Charles Leclerc on track for P2, he was also able to get ahead of his Red Bull teammate, Max Verstappen.

As MARCA reported last week, the FIA has given the green light to the new F1 sprint, with the unanimous backing of all the teams, which will have six races this season.
The new race format also sees the debut of double qualifying, i.e. the shorter Saturday sprint race will have its own qualifying, also shorter.

Sergio Perez has assured that, although it might not seem it, he has a good relationship with Max Verstappen and that there is a lot of respect between the Red Bull F1 teammates.
Perez has requested that his team allow him to compete for the Formula 1 championship as opposed to playing second fiddle to Verstappen, however the Dutchman will not accept anything but winning.
