Less than 24 hours after winning the ATP 1000 Cincinnati Open, world No. 1 Jannik Sinner found himself at the center of a doping controversy. The Italian tennis star, who has dominated the 2024 season, tested positive for Clostebol, an anabolic steroid, during the Indian Wells tournament in March. Despite two positive tests, Sinner has avoided suspension, with the International Tennis Integrity Agency (ITIA) determining that the player bore "no fault or negligence."
