Ray Stevens is recovering after a frightening experience.
The country artist, 87, was hospitalized in Nashville, Tennessee, on March 29 after fracturing his neck in a fall.
The Grammy winner, 87, was advised by doctors to wear a neck brace for "approximately four weeks,” a statement shared to his Instagram on April 7 read of his recovery, noting that he's currently “recovering at home.”
"Despite the injury," the statement said, "he is completely ambulatory and in excellent spirits as he continues his treatment."
