Amazon MGM Studios is in advanced discussions with Russian filmmaker Ilya Naishuller to take the reins on Road House 2, following the unexpected exit of Guy Ritchie earlier this month for undisclosed reasons, Deadline reports.

Mubi has picked up all Italian rights to Agon, the feature directorial debut from Giulio Bertelli, ahead of its premiere in the Critics’ Week section at this year’s Venice Film Festival. The streaming platform and distributor plans to release the sports-themed drama in Italian cinemas on August 29, marking the launch of its theatrical slate in Italy.
