In his latest Netflix comedy special, "Jamie Foxx: What Had Happened Was...", the 56-year-old actor tackles the online conspiracies surrounding his near-death experience and alleged feud with Sean "Diddy" Combs. With humor and candor, Foxx sets the record straight.

In April 2023, Foxx was hospitalized after suffering a "brain bleed that led to a stroke", resulting in a 20-day memory loss. The incident sparked online speculation, including claims that Diddy was involved.

The comedian  has since made a remarkable recovery, crediting his sense of humor as a crucial coping mechanism. His Netflix special marks a triumphant return to the stage after an 18-year hiatus.

Jamie Foxx jokingly addressed the conspiracy theories, saying, "The internet said Puffy was trying to kill me... Hell no, I left those parties early, I was out by 9, something don't look right, it's slippery in here." Diddy's team has denied any connection between Foxx's health scare and his own ongoing legal issues.

Diddy is currently in federal custody, awaiting trial on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution. A 14-page federal indictment alleges the rapper organized 'freak offs' where women were sexually assaulted. Diddy has pleaded not guilty, with his trial set for May 2025.

Having "lost everything" but his sense of humor, Foxx's resilience inspires. "Jamie Foxx: What Had Happened Was..." is now streaming on Netflix, offering a poignant and entertaining exploration of the actor's near-death experience.
