Jazz music emerged from the African American communities in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Jazz music has blended elements of African rhythms, European harmonies and American instruments. From its roots in blues and ragtime, jazz blossomed into a genre that constantly evolves absorbing influences from around the world.

Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, commonly known as Coachella has a rich history dating back into its inception in 1999.
The festival was founded by Paul Tollet and Rick Van Santen of Goldenvoice. A subsidiary of AEG live. The idea was to create a multi-day event that would feature various musical genre, including rock, indie, hip-hop, electronic music with art installations and other attractions.

On Thursday, rapper Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson launched his G-Unit Studios in Shreveport, Louisiana, where he plans to expand his film and TV projects. The in-house production facility is located in the city's downtown area and is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and facilities. The facility spans across more than 15,000 square feet and boasts of sound stages, editing suites, production offices, and a screening room.

Taylor Swift's latest album, The Tortured Poets Department, is breaking records and captivating fans worldwide. The album, which was released on Friday, has already set a new record for Spotify's most-streamed album in a single day, and Swift has become the most-streamed artist in a single day as well. The album features 31 tracks, each one a raw and honest expression of the pop star's heartbreak and anger towards her former partners. The first 16 tracks of the album were released as scheduled at 5 am UK time, and a few hours later, an additional 15 tracks were released, giving her fans plenty to dive into - as well as sending music journalists into a frenzy.

Grammy-winning singer Mandisa, known for her powerful voice and uplifting music, has passed away at the age of 47. She rose to fame on season 5 of “American Idol” and went on to become a celebrated Christian artist, touching the lives of many with her music and her story of resilience. Mandisa’s representative confirmed her passing, stating, “We can confirm that yesterday Mandisa was found in her home deceased. At this time we do not know the cause of death or any further details. We ask for your prayers for her family and close knit circle of friends during this incredibly difficult time.”
