Kate Cassidy may have discovered a new love more than a year after Liam Payne died.

Kate, who had been dating Liam for two years when he died in 2024, has been vocal about her grieving journey since then. And now it appears that trip will include a return to dating.

In a TikTok video from March 16, the 26-year-old and a mystery man—tagged as Michael—walk a few feet before he scoops her up in bridal style and spins her around. The video's audio is "Hopelessly Devoted to You" by Olivia Newton-John, which Kate captioned with a black heart emoji.

Kate had shared a video with the same man a few days before, captioning it with multiple heart emojis, "Ugh."

Many admirers of Liam—who was a member of One Direction alongside Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, and Louis Tomlinson—have given their support in the comments as she has kept them updated on how she has handled life without the "Strip That Down" singer.

"As a young widow who is dating again, I approve this message," a reader said. "We love you, Kate, and we will always grieve Liam, but you deserve to feel loved again. It's going to be different as it should be, and it's truly great. I know my boyfriend is cheering me on, as is Liam for you."

Matt Clark, the prolific character actor whose rugged presence and sharp delivery defined over 150 roles in film and television, died Sunday morning, March 15, 2026. He was 89. His family confirmed to TMZ that Clark passed away at his home in Austin due to complications following back surgery, noting that the veteran performer “died the way he lived, on his terms.”

To many fans, Clark was the face of the Old West, most notably as Chester the Bartender in the 1885 setting of Back to the Future Part III. Whether he was pouring a “wake-up juice” for Doc Brown or nervously eyeing Buford “Mad Dog” Tannen, Clark brought a grounded authenticity to the science-fiction trilogy. His performance as the weary saloon keeper remains one of the most recognizable supporting roles in the franchise’s history.
