Disney Pixar’s latest spinoff series, Dream Productions, has accomplished something neither Inside Out nor Inside Out 2 managed: introducing Riley to a new part of her mind. This series takes a deep dive into the dream-making studio within Riley’s mind, focusing on the characters who create her most memorable dreams. Although the 2015 Inside Out movie did briefly take us to it, Dream Productions brings this into the main focus as very important for Riley’s emotional growth and ways of passing through her tween life.

Following criticism over the songs featured on “Moana 2,” songwriters Abigail Barlow and Emily Bear are confident the tracks will soon be viral among kids. Barlow said, “Give it a month, all the kids will be singing it,” when asked about the mixed reviews the soundtrack has received.

Steven Spielberg’s “Schindler’s List” Steaming on Netflix Starting January 1^st, 2025, Netflix will add to its archives one of the most critically acclaimed films by Steven Spielberg, Schindler’s List. This powerful historic drama that picked up a total of seven Academy Awards follows Liam Neeson as Oskar Schindler, a German businessman credited with saving the lives of more than 1,000 Jews during the Holocaust.

One of the more seriously underrated action thriller series has just landed on Prime Video. Beginning back in 2010 before coming to an end in 2013, Nikita features Mission: Impossible III and Die Hard 4 star Maggie Q in the lead role. She plays a woman with a particular set of skills who escapes from a mysterious, nefarious organization in which she was trained, disappears, and returns three years later to take them down.

Disney is continuing its trend of reimagining animated classics into live-action, now bringing to life the beloved 2010 film Tangled. Helmed by Michael Gracey, who directed the hit musical The Greatest Showman, this adaptation promises a new take on the story of Rapunzel, the princess with magical, endlessly long hair. Jennifer Kaytin Robinson, known for Thor: Love and Thunder and Do Revenge, will pen the script. Producers Kristin Burr and Lucy Kitada, both seasoned Disney collaborators, are also attached to the project.

Sony’s newest Marvel spin-off, Kraven the Hunter, held its world premiere in Macon, Georgia, ahead of its December 13 theatrical release. By J.C. Chandor and starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson as the titular anti-hero, Kraven is a visceral origin story that follows an anti-hero from a more complicated family conflict to one of Marvel’s most feared hunters. Reactions have been hit or miss, with some critics praising the bold approach this movie takes while others had more negative things to say.

Jensen Ackles, known for his work in both Supernatural and The Boys, is taking center stage in the lead role of Prime Video’s forthcoming action-thriller series Countdown. This much-anticipated 13-episode series, created by Derek Haas (of the Chicago franchise and FBI: International), recently dropped behind-the-scenes images that have set fans and viewers abuzz in excitement.
